Children with additional requirements

Children with additional requirements are the second target group of our organization.

This term becomes actual in a number of countries of Western Europe, it is used instead of the term “children with special needs”, meaning children with violations of psychophysical development. In particular, in Great Britain this term means the widest group of the children needing support.

This group include the children having special or additional needs and different opportunities which arise in connection with features of psychophysical development, social trouble of different character or as a result of physical, psychological or emotional abuse.

We agree that accents in the characteristic of these children from shortcomings or vulnerability should be moved to fixing on their needs in. Solution of their problems should be found through creation of opportunities, adequate tools and techniques of work with them, pointing at the same time to responsibility of society for identification and realization of needs of these children.
